Avaliação dos peritos

Decanter:

Dark and inky with mellow ageing evident in the bead of the glass. Splendid notes of chocolate, mocha, black olive, leather, black plum and stewed plum fruit. Drink soon.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2005 Petit Verdot - Tempranillo is a blend of the two grapes in equal parts from 15-year-old vineyards planted on chalk-rich soils aged for one year in a mixture of French and American oak barrels. It feels serious and concentrated, but at the same time fresh and ripe without excess, with aromas of plums and orange peel, some spices and perfectly integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, with good acidity, concentrated but balanced, quite pleasant and clean, with soft tannins, easy to drink and with good persistence. Drink now-2016.

James Suckling:

A rich and slightly old-fashioned nose showing plenty of chocolate, pine cones and hazelnuts to the rich blackberries. A hint of tree bark, too. Flavorful and full-bodied on the palate with rich, juicy black fruit and a savory finish. Some bark at the end. Drink now.
