Cantina Toblino Praàl BIO 2018

Made with organic fruit, the Cantina Toblino 2018 Trentino Pinot Bianco Pràal shows a medium golden color with pretty luminosity. To the nose, the wine offers ripe apple and pear followed by peach, sweet nectarine and toasted nut. This is a slightly fatter and more full-bodied expression of the Pinot Bianco grape than you would find deeper into the Dolomites in the Alto Adige region directly north of here. Instead, this wine from the Trentino region, with a warmer, more Mediterranean-adjacent climate, puts more stock in texture and mouthfeel. The effect is fruity and more fragrant with a mild mineral imprint.
