Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

This wine sees Nerello Mascalese in a leading role, with a smaller part played by Nerello Cappuccio. It ferments on the skins for 25 days with submerged cap in cement vats and ages in large oak casks for one year. Packaged with the red label, the Carranco 2019 Etna Rosso Contrada Carranco makes a terrific first impression with lovely notes of sweet fruit, blue flower and cherry blossom. The wine's texture is fine and delicate, with ashy sensations that lead to a note of bright cherry on the finish. I like the wine's primary fruit character.

James Suckling:

This has fragrant aromas of red plums, peach stones, orange peel, sour cherries, licorice and cloves. It’s medium-bodied with a transparent and pure core of fruit, framed by firm and fine tannins. Drink or hold.
