This Gewurztraminer is sourced from the Vigna Kastelaz site, a south-facing vineyard of 80% steepness on a freestanding hill which juts out into the valley. Floral and perfumed, it displays exotic, heady fragrances of rosewater, lychee, pepper and exotic spices. There's good concentration in the mouth, its nectarine flavours speckled with white pepper and cinnamon, and a mineral tanginess on the mid-palate. Long and fresh, it finishes with a beautiful floral display of jasmine and honeysuckle.
