James Suckling:

Pretty nose of sliced apples, kiwi fruit, peaches, lemons and some praline. Creamy and delicious, with a medium body and fleshy texture throughout. Nicely complex sauvignon blanc. Drink now.

Decanter:

From Elena Walch's monopole Castel Ringberg vineyard, this Sauvignon Blanc – 15% of which ferments and ages in barriques – is fleshy and peachy with intense, zippy minerality to balance the juicy core of floral, stony peach and apricot skin flavours. The mid-palate is slightly salty and pithy, while the finish develops creaminess and spiciness.
