Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

There is an evident jump in quality from the Selección to the 2021 Viñas Viejas, and the vintage was also cooler and produced fresher wines. This is very classical, with typicity and character, ripeness without excess, with 14.5% alcohol and a medium to full-bodied palate with depth and complexity. It has balance, power and elegance. 15,193 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2023. (Luis Gutiérrez)

Tim Atkin:

The old vine cuvée from Isabel Cano and Toni Sarrión uses grapes from 38 vineyards with an average age of 83 years. A classic field blend of Tinto Fino and 2% Albillo Mayor, it has some subtle reduction, well-integrated used oak, good density and grip, some thyme and rosemary and a dense, black-fruited finish. 2024-30.
