This wine was not produced in 2019, so I jumped to the 2020 Mas de Mancuso Garnacha from the 2018 I tasted last time. It comes from a north-facing slope on slate soils. It fermented with 100% full clusters and matured in the same 500-liter barrels used for the 2018 (so older) for a slightly longer time, 18 months. There's a certain brightness in the aromas and the taste, with an earthy twist, some peppery aromas, good ripeness, 14% alcohol and good freshness. It has some dusty tannins and, again, a slightly earthy, rustic touch that should get polished with time in bottle. 4,000 bottles were filled in February 2023.

Esperaba algo de mas "alma" en esta garnacha. No es que no sea un buen vino pero echo en falta "algo" para ese precio.
