Pas Curtei 2021

The red 2021 Pas Curtei was produced with 40% Cariñena, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, where they work toward protecting the freshness in the wine, which finished with a pH of 3.5 despite the relatively high ripeness and 14% alcohol. It mixes floral aromas and elegant perfume with earthy notes and hints of spices and licorice. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, slightly dusty tannins and a very tasty, almost salty finish. These reds need time and/or powerful food. It was bottled in October 2023.
