Tihom Blanco 2020

The 2020 Tihom Blanco was produced with equal parts of Garnacha Blanca and Maturana Blanca, plus a bit of Viura. It was a little reductive and closed, with notes of herbs and flowers. It's floral and elegant, with notes of chamomile, pollen, white pepper and wet chalk. It has a velvety, complex and nuanced palate, solid and seamless, round and ripe at 14% alcohol. It matured in 500-liter oak barrels, separately, for one year and then blended and put back in concrete for one more year. Time has polished it and given it complexity. The wine is delicious, complex, nuanced and elegant, very tasty, almost salty. 8,000 bottles were filled in the winter of 2023.
