Up a point after an extra year in bottle - many of the 2019s were quite big wines on release - this well-made Crianza is a pure Tempranillo from Ábalos, Briones and Ollauri. Smooth and balsamic, with fine-grained tannins and subtle French and American oak, it's the kind of wine that could give Crianzas a better name. 2024-27.
